Hayward Gallery | 'Move'

Designed in collabaration with Amanda Levete Architects on behalf of Kite Related Design ltd. Working alongside designer James Tattersal, we developed a system of orgarmi styled seams to minimise and completely reduce the structures requirement for system fittings. This in turn pushed us to produce this 180 metre long paper folded structure. Weaving and twisting elegantly through the Hayward Gallery (London, Southbank), standing upto 5 metres tall in some places. Using our thought process developed by KRD, we produced a lightweight solution to a concept if done using other techniques would have had a fair larger environmental footprint.
